AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah II and French President, François Hollande, held a summit todayat the Husayniyah Royal Palace, Tuesday, reaffirming the strength of relations and collaboration between Jordan and France, underscoring the vitality of reinforcing cross-continental deliberation, coordination, and cooperation, in the interests of the two countries and peoples.

On the bilateral deliberation, followed by an extended session that was attended by ranking officials of both countries, His Majesty welcomed President Hollande’s visit, and stated that this particular gesture will help push relations unto wider spaces, increasing the margin for joint collaboration, and anchoring the strategic ties between Jordan and France.

The deliberations included countering terrorism, addressing the Syrian crisis, and the developments in the region, as well as efforts to restore the Palestinian-Israeli peace process.
