Government Raises Fuel Prices 1.43 to 2.81%

AMMAN —Al Ghad— The government raised the prices of gasoline, kerosene and diesel by 1.43 to 2.81 per cent Saturday, May 1st, maintaining the price of gas cylinders at JD7. The increase included other specialised industrial oil and fuel products.

Accordingly, kerosene and diesel prices per litre reached JD0.365, up from JD0.355, at around 2.81 per cent increase.

The prices of unleaded 90-octane and 95-octane gasoline will see a 1.9 and 1.43 per cent raise respectively, at JD0.535 and JD0.705 per litre, instead of JD0.525 and JD0.695.

Other price increases included jet-fuel, at JOD0.305 per litre for domestic planes and JOD0.310 per litre for foreign liners, as well as the prices of fuel oils and other bulk derivative products.
