AMMAN — Members of the Jordanian Anti-Corruption Commission (JACC) were sworn in before His Majesty King Abdullah II today, Sunday, following the issuance of a Royal Decree, last week, to appoint the new body of the Commission, presided by Dr Mohammad Allaf.

His Majesty stressed to the JACC during the meet, which was attended by Premier Dr Hani Mulqi; the importance of their role, as a legal and realistic successor of the Court of Grievances, under the 2015 Integrity and Anti-Corruption Act, and that their input to countering favouritism and discrimination is crucial to the course of reforms in Jordan.

On another note, His Majesty received a letter from Prime Minister Dr hani Mulqi, entailing the details of the government’s executive plan, which in turn comes as a response to the Letter of Designation by the King..
