AMMAN —Al Ghad— Director of the Civil Status and Passports Department, Marwan Quteishat, handed the constituency list over to the Independent Elections Commission (IEC) today, Thursday, totaling at just above 4.139 million people, born June 21st, 1999, and older, exclusive of Army and security forces personnel, and individuals with judicial restrictions on counts of bankruptcies, insolvency, and issues of the sort.

On their behalf, Media Spokesperson for the IEC, Jihad Momani, stated that the Commission has approved candidacy and nomination terms and prerequisites, chiefly to include a non-refundable nomination fee of JOD500, and a JOD2,000 refundable conditioned deposit, for the purpose of rights preservation in case of violations of the existing instructions for electoral propaganda.

Other articles have been passed by the IEC, pending publishing in official newspapers, in addition to another bundle to be discussed next week.
