UNICEF Report Tragedy in Yemen: 1,500 Children Killed in 2016, Half a Million Malnutritioned

AMMAN —AlGhad— A recent UNICEF report warns that more than 1,500 Yemeni children were killed in 2016 alone, 2,450 at least were injured, and half a million suffer malnutrition due to the bloody conflict, with nearly 2 million children out of school, 350 thousand incapable of continuing education.

At least, 1,600 schools have been either completely or partially decommissioned under bombardment.

With more children out of school, the number of militant child recruits has grown from 850 in 2015 to 1,580 last year.
