Currency Counterfeiting Limited, Dinar Hard to Replicate: Official

AMMAN —AlGhad— According to official confirmations, counterfeiting Jordan’s Dinar currency is extremely difficult, and is therefore equally rare, in response to claims of there being forged JOD50 currency bills in circulation domestically.

Confiscated JOD50 bills, one official has confirmed, since the beginning of 2017, do not exceed 268 bills, which is nothing significant compared to sum circulating.

Through the years 2009-2016, there were no more than 1,298 JOD50 bills confiscated, according to the government.
