RAMALLAH/AMMAN —AlGhad— Several Palestinians were injured in clashes against Israeli occupation forces earlier today, Wednesday, in the occupied West Bank towns of Tubas and Abu Dis, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
In Tubas, a Palestinian youth took a bullet to the foot during the violent confrontations which erupted when Israeli forces stormed the town of Tubas.
Occupation forces opened fire at the Palestinians who rallied to resist the Israeli incursion.
Meanwhile, many Palestinians were reported suffocating in Abu Dis, southeast of the occupied city of Jerusalem, having inhaled tear gas, fired at them by occupation soldiers.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement that clashes broke out after the occupation troops stormed the town in order to carry out arrest campaigns against the locals.
Following the storming of Abu Dis, confrontations erupted between Israeli soldiers, who fired tear gas canisters against the residents and Palestinian youths, who defended themselves by throwing stones and empty bottles.
