RAMALLAH/AMMAN —AlGhad— Israeli occupation troops Wednesday morning stormed several areas in the occupied West Bank territory, mainly “Ad-Duyuk at-Tahta” village, northwest of Jericho, and Ras al-Amud, east of the occupied Jerusalem, demolishing 10 Palestinian houses in total.
In the northwester Jericho village, occupation forces demolished nine Palestinian houses there.
Meanwhile, in Jerusalem, occupation bulldozers tore down a Palestinian house, east of the occupied city, under the pretext that it was built without permit.
The Jericho village's council said in a statement that Israeli bulldozers backed by dozens military jeeps and Israeli soldiers, pushed deep into the area, when they destroyed the houses.
According to the council, the Palestinian-owned homes were demolished under the pretext they were built near a closed Israeli military zone.
Last week, on Thursday, the Jerusalem occupation municipality, delivered a demolition warrant to another Palestinian family in their home.
