AMMAN —AlGhad— The Jordanian Football Association (JFA) condemned the assault against the Wehdat U-15 team following yesterday’s versus the Feisali U-15 team, which resulted in a number of injuries among players and team management.
So far, six of the primary assailants has been apprehended, according to an earlier police statement today, Saturday.
Meanwhile, police are in pursuit of the remaining suspects, whose identities remain undisclosed.
The Association’s board convened, under directives of His Highness Prince Ali, chairman of the JFA, and decided to follow up on results of the police investigation.
All identified assailants will suffer severe consequences, the Association’s statement said, aside to proceeding of the law.
