AMMAN —AlGhad— Jordan’s national Under-15 women’s football team took down the Lebanese contender in the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) Championship, after a tough game that ended in a penalty shootout.
The Jordanian team landed four goals against Lebanon’s three, after tying 1-1.
The Federation awarded Jordanian players Enas Jamaain and Eline Suweilmin the Championship’s Best Player and Best Striker prizes.
Lebanese goalkeeper Zahra Ali was also awarded the Best Goalkeeper prize.
The team was awarded gold medals for coming in first, the Lebanese silvers for coming in second, as Palestine the bronze, for coming in third.
