King, Erdogan Discuss Stopping Violence in Gaza

AMMAN —AlGhad— His Majesty King Abdullah II received a phone call from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan yesterday, Tuesday, over which the two leaders discussed the most recent developments in Palestine, the violence against Palestinians in Gaza, and the relocation of the US Embassy to Jerusalem.

The embassy’s relocation will affect the peace process in Palestine and the security and stability of the whole region, King Abdullah and President Erdogan agreed.

More so, Turkey and Jordan must maintain continuous coordination and an open line of communication on the variety of issues affecting the region, the leaders concurred. Chief among these issues is the Palestinian Cause and the Jerusalem situation.
