Arab Bank Reaches Settlement on the Lindy Case

AMMAN — The Arab Bank reached a settlement with 600 American and Israeli plaintiffs on the “Lindy” case, according to a statement issued by the Bank, Thursday, after the American Court of Appeals, the Second Circuit Court in New York city, affirmed the dismissal of lawsuits filed by non-American foreign plaintiffs, most bearing Israeli nationalities, before American Courts against the Arab Bank, in accordance to the 1789 "Alien Tort Statute” litigation.
