Collapse within Daesh Ranks, Mass Leaders Executions

BAGHDAD — The Daesh terror group started collapsing and executing scores of its leaders as the battle to retake the city of Mosul kicked off early Monday.

Former Nineveh governor, and leader of tribal forces, Atheel al-Nujaifi, told Petra's reporter in Baghdad that the Daesh terror group has executed more that 60 of its fighters after the heavy losses it incurred in the battle launched morning by the Iraqi army to re-capture the city of Mosul.

Nujaifi asked the Mosul residents to stay in their homes, stressing that the Iraqi army is working according to well designed plan with its main goal not to endanger civilian lives in the city.

Families in the cities started raising the white flags on their rooftops, as a symbol of their peaceful presence in the city and to help the Iraqi forces to define the terrorists, he further added.
