AMMAN —AlGhad— Police foiled a plan to rob a number of pharmacies and shops across Amman and arrested four of the schemers when a police vehicle intercepted their car under suspicious circumstances, a police source uncovered to AlGhad.
Police personnel confiscated three masks, gloves, a firearm and eight bullets of the same calibre.
Under investigation, the detainees confessed to planning a number of armed robberies in the East Amman areas.
The detainees are still in custody, and will stand before the Attorney General (AG) soon, the source confirmed.
Meanwhile, the investigation is still ongoing, to uncover the full scale of their organisation.
